Helsingborg Stad - A hot spot in the Öresund region
Helsingborg is a city in the fast-growing Öresund region and Helsingborg Business Region. The population of Helsingborg is 130,600 making Helsingborg Sweden's ninth largest city. The city has an active industry with great opportunities for start-ups. There are about 11,500 companies registered in Helsingborg. In 2009, there were 1,485 newly registered companies in the city.
The city hosts Campus Helsingborg, part of Lund University. The campus now has about 3,000 students and the number is increasing steadily every year with new educational courses being added. The city is working closely with the campus to provide the best conditions for business growth.

There are daily departures to other towns in Skåne by train and bus. Driving north for apporximateley 20 mintes will take you to the main airport, Helsingborg-Ängelholm, with daily connections to Stockholm-Arlanda and Bromma. For international flights, the closest airport is Kastrup International Airport in Denmark, located 60 minutes away by train.
Ferries depart approximately every 20 minutes around the clock, to Helsingör in Denmark.
