Registration for population purposes in Sweden
If you have moved to Sweden and are planning to live here for one year or more you should normally be registered in the Swedish population register. To be registered you must apply in person to the Swedish Tax Agency.
Please note that you may not be registered in Sweden if your family still lives in another country. In such a case you will instead receive a “co-ordination number”. If not, please note that all family members must be present in person.
